Every single day I need to stop and remind myself of this a lot.
I want things done, tasks ticked off, I want to see results and move forward.
BUT it does not work this way when it comes to our kids and their (and our) learning and growing.
So here it is, easy and simple.

I want to be heard, respected, listened to. To teach and be proud of my ways.
It is all about me, me, me. And I get no results.
My kids grow best when they feel supported, heard and understood. That is how they learn.
That is how I learn.
SO… a deep breath… I practice connection, and after I connect with my child, then we both can learn.
Remember, it is not about the quantity but about the quality. Quality time, quality learning, quality growing.
